FAQs
How much does home care cost and how can it be funded?
The cost of our care is tailored to your individual needs and the level of support required. After your free home assessment, we provide a clear and detailed breakdown of costs with no hidden fees. We support both privately funded clients and those receiving funding from the Local Authority (Direct Payments), and we are always happy to have a confidential chat to help you understand the options available.
Are your carers trained and DBS checked?
Absolutely. The safety and peace of mind of our clients is our highest priority. Every carer on our team undergoes a rigorous selection process, including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and thorough reference checks. Furthermore, all our staff receive comprehensive training and ongoing professional development to ensure they always provide the highest standard of compassionate, skilled care.
Will I have the same carer for every visit?
We understand how important a familiar, friendly face is for building trust and comfort. We do our very best to ensure you have a small, dedicated team of regular carers. While we can’t guarantee a single carer for every visit due to things like holidays or illness, we always prioritise consistency and will make sure you are properly introduced to any new member of your care team beforehand.
How do I start the process of arranging care?
Getting started is simple and pressure-free. The first step is to give our friendly Gainsborough team a call for a confidential, no-obligation chat about your situation. From there, we’ll arrange a free home assessment at a time that suits you to listen to your needs in detail and help you understand your options.
Can I change my care plan if my needs change?
Of course. We know that circumstances and care needs can change, sometimes very suddenly. Our care plans are designed to be completely flexible. We conduct regular reviews with you and your family to ensure the support you’re receiving is still perfect for you, and we can easily adjust your plan as required.
